This Privacy Policy explains how 20percent.ai Pty Ltd (ABN 53 669 770 423) ("we", "us", "our") handles personal information collected through the PilatesCourseFinder.com website (the "Site"). We are committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

1. Information we collect

We collect personal information you provide to us directly, including when you:

  • submit the lead / comparison form (name, email, phone, state, learning goals, experience level);
  • opt in to the co-registration offer with our partner Choose Franchise (investment capacity, business experience, timeline);
  • register interest in a job listing;
  • claim a studio listing or report a data inaccuracy;
  • contact us by email.

We also automatically collect limited technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device details, referring URL and pages viewed, using cookies and similar technologies.

2. How we use your information

We use personal information to:

  • operate, maintain and improve the Site;
  • respond to your enquiries and provide the comparison results you request;
  • send occasional course updates, provider intake notifications and career tips (you can unsubscribe at any time);
  • share your details with a training provider or partner where you have expressly asked us to;
  • detect, prevent and address technical or security issues;
  • comply with our legal obligations.

3. Disclosure to third parties

We only disclose your personal information to third parties in the following circumstances:

  • Training providers: where you complete the lead form we may pass your enquiry to relevant Pilates course providers you have shown interest in.
  • Choose Franchise: where you tick "Yes" on the co-registration offer, we transmit your contact details and answers to Choose Franchise (operated by an independent third party) via a secure server-to-server API so they can create an account for you and send you a welcome email. If you decline, no data is shared.
  • Service providers: hosting, database, email delivery, analytics and customer-support providers that process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.
  • Legal: where required by law, court order, or to protect our rights, property or safety.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Cookies and analytics

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences (e.g. draft form answers), keep you signed in where applicable, and understand how the Site is used so we can improve it. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may affect some Site functionality.

5. Data storage and security

Personal information is stored in secure cloud infrastructure and protected by reasonable technical and organisational measures, including access controls, encryption in transit (TLS) and encryption at rest by our infrastructure providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. While we take security seriously, we cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.

6. Retention

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, or as required by law. When it is no longer required we de-identify or delete it.

7. Your rights

You may, at any time:

  • request access to the personal information we hold about you;
  • request correction of information that is inaccurate or out of date;
  • request deletion of your information, subject to legal exceptions;
  • unsubscribe from marketing communications via the link in any email we send.

8. Complaints

If you believe we have breached the APPs, please contact us first so we can investigate and respond. If you are not satisfied with our response you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at www.oaic.gov.au.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be highlighted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.

10. Governing law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
